DiscIn Ultimate

Version française : Accueil DiscIn Ultimate

Learn the rules of ultimate by playing.

DiscIn Ultimate is a bilingual quiz, in French and English, on the official rules of ultimate, based on the USA Ultimate 2026-2027 rulebook. Every question comes with a clear explanation and the rule reference, so you know not only what to answer, but why.

Because there is no referee

In ultimate, players uphold the rules themselves. Knowing them well means fairer play, calls settled faster and a stronger Spirit of the Game.

What you will find

• A daily challenge, the same for every player, once a day.

• Games by theme, by level (Rookie, Player or Veteran) or at random.

• Modes to mix it up: Stall Count, Mismatch, and "Replay my mistakes" to fix what slipped by.

• Points and badges to track your progress.

• No account to create and no internet connection required: your profile stays on your device.

Who it's for

Players of every level, captains and coaches. DiscIn is intended for people aged 13 and over.

About DiscIn Ultimate

DiscIn grew out of a simple observation: ultimate has no referees, and everyone needs to know the rules to play well and settle calls. Yet the rulebook is long, and few people read it cover to cover. DiscIn brings it to life, one question at a time, with the answer, the explanation and the rule reference, in French and in English.

The creators

Jonathan Houle and Bruno Charland are two ultimate players who have played and been involved in the sport in the Québec City area for more than 20 years.

They know the game from the inside: the tight points, the calls to talk through, those moments when everyone wonders what the rulebook really says. That is where DiscIn came from.

Together, they imagined, built and tested the app, with one simple conviction: a self-officiated sport is played better when everyone knows the rules. Their idea was to make that knowledge accessible, lively, and even fun.

Two players, one shared passion, one goal: better-played games.

Tested by the community

Before its release, DiscIn was put through its paces by a group of ultimate players and coaches in Québec, on Android and iPhone. Thank you all for your feedback.

Where the questions come from

The questions are based on the USA Ultimate 2026-2027 rulebook and its French translation. Every explanation points to the relevant rule. The official rulebook prevails: if an answer looks wrong to you, tap "Report" in the answer review and we will check it.
